Speakers

Braeden Lampard – OzFish Unlimited Program Manager Murray Darling Basin
Braeden Lampard has over 9 years’ experience working in local stakeholder engagement, communications, and fish ecology. Braeden is a dedicated and highly motivated professional who has had a strong interest in the environment industry since his childhood, which started from camping, bushwalking, and fishing along the Murray and Darling Rivers.

Peter Rose – North Central CMA Project Manager
Peter Rose is freshwater ecologist and Project Manager for North Central CMA’s Native Fish Recovery Plan-Gunbower and lower Loddon, and the Recovery Reach Coordinator for the Mid-Murray Floodplain Recovery Reach.

Caitlin Berecry – OzFish Social Media & Content Manager, Women in Rec Fishing & Boating Leader
Having grown up on farms, Caitlin’s connection to land and water was well established before the love affair with fishing began, and if she’s not out fishing, you’ll find her podcasting, writing, and sharing fishing content online. With a background in community management, marketing and communications, Caitlin is committed to advocating for the sustainability of our fisheries and educating others to take action in their own backyards. With her experience in building capacity in rural communities, Caitlin is passionate about creating agency in individuals to enact positive social and environmental change.

Colby Lesko – Aussie fishing photographer, writer, and fishing guide
Colby is lucky enough to spend most days of the year on the water fishing somewhere in Australia. He loves all forms of fishing, both fresh and saltwater but a couple of his all-time favourites are big Murray cod in the Murray Darling Basin and big GT’s on the great barrier reef. Colby has been fishing since he was old enough to remember and plans on fishing as much as he can in the future.

Doors open from 6:15PM for a 6:30PM start. A 1/2hr Q&A session will be held at the end of the event, so keep your questions in mind!
