Campaspe Loddon Waterbug Blitz

The OzFish Campaspe Loddon Chapter invites you to their very first event – a water bug blitz on the Campaspe River.
They might be tiny, but waterbugs are wonders of our waterways. Under a microscope, they appear to be part of their own alien world. Yet, they are important for our rivers, and are food for many of the fishes we love.
Come along to our family-friendly, hands-on waterbug sampling event to learn all about water quality in the Campaspe River, and what OzFish’s newest Chapter is doing to safeguard fishing in our region.
Ligth refreshments will be provided.
What to bring: Water; Enclosed, watertight shoes; Long pants and a sun-safe shirt; A mask (unless you have an exemption or are under 12); and A charged phone for QR code registration.
