Kyogle Carp Out – NSW

February 10 @ 8:30 am - 1:30 pm AEDT

Join OzFish at a family-friendly fishing event to remove carp from the waterway and help native fish thrive!

The OzFish Richmond River Chapter is joining forces with Kyogle Landcare to remove carp from Fawcetts Creek. The event is a great opportunity for locals to have a fish and help reduce the carp population in the waterway. Learn from local anglers and OzFish members how best to catch carp and why it’s important to reduce their population.

The event is being held at the Kyogle Amphitheatre, behind the Visitor Info Centre on ANZAC Drive, Kyogle.

Schedule

Registrations from 8:30am
Lunch and prizes at 1:00pm

This event is also a Yabby Trap Drop Spot! Bring along any old and unwanted opera house yabby traps and get an Oar-Gee Plow lure. Opera house nets are illegal in NSW and those collected will be recycled into useful products for anglers, with the proceeds being used to support habitat restoration.

Please BYO fishing gear. Registration is essential.
We hope to see you there!
