Goondiwindi Classic 2024

June 7 @ 3:00 pm - June 9 @ 2:00 pm AEST

It’s back! Come and join us for the 2024 Goondiwindi Classic.

Do you have what it takes to catch the biggest fish? The Goondiwindi Classic is a catch-and-release fishing comp and carp cull to educate the community on catch and release best practices for sustainable fishing. There is over $15,000 worth of Prizes to be won! Prizes for adult competitors are awarded based on the length of the fish, which is to be submitted via a photograph taken.

The competition is designed as catch and release to protect and preserve our native fish. Correctly photographing your fish is critical to ensure your catch is eligible for entry into the competition.

Fishing commences 3pm Friday 7th June
Photo Entries close 11am Sunday 9th June

Fishing is open between the Goondiwindi weir and the Boggabilla weir.

It is the contestant’s responsibility to ensure they hold a QLD SIPS Permit OR a NSW Fishing License.
