It’s back! Come and join us for the 2023 Goondiwindi Classic.

Do you have what it takes to catch the biggest fish? The Goondiwindi Classic is a catch-and-release fishing comp and carp cull to educate the community on catch and release best practices for sustainable fishing. There is over $10,000 worth of Prizes to be won! Prizes for adult competitors are awarded based on the length of the fish, which is to be submitted via a photograph taken.

Fishing commences 3pm Friday 9th June
Photo Entries close 11am Sunday 11th June
All competitors must attend the final presentation in person to collect their prizes.

The OzFish Goondiwindi Chapter is organised and run by a group of enthusiastic recreational anglers who want the best for their local waterways. They promote safe and sustainable fishing practices in the community as well as helping to support, maintain and develop community projects for habitat restoration.
