A clever new initiative has just been launched to restore the once-thriving fish populations of the Logan and Albert Rivers. The project is a partnership between fishing conservation charity OzFish Unlimited
A band of dedicated recreational fishers we will be out planting trees and shrubs along the Nicholson River to restore fish habitat on Saturday 26 October. Some 1,500 trees and shrubs will be planted by an expected 30 community volunteers.
OzFish East Gippsland Chapter president Peter Stephens urged any interested locals to get involved.

OzFish will be planting Trees for Fish on Emigrant Creek, Saturday 20 October from 10am and we want everyone to lend a hand!
