Seagrass Restoration North Queensland

August 6 @ 9:00 am - August 9 @ 3:00 pm AEST

If you are keen to spend some time helping in seagrass restoration, learning new skills, and meet like-minded people, then this is for you. Volunteering for the local seagrass restoration project is a great way to get involved in restoring affected seagrass meadows in the Cairns region.

Our activities are fun and family-friendly, creating a relaxed environment where all are welcome. Make sure you wear enclosed shoes that can get wet. Some of the work may be outdoors, so would recommend volunteers bring a hat and long sleeved shirt, a bottle of water and lunch. We would welcome all assistance, even if people can only help out for a couple of hours.
