Seagrass for Swimmers Community Day – WA

March 25 @ 9:30 am - 10:15 am AWST

Seagrass for swimmer crabs

Did you hear? We’ve got a brand new Seagrass restoration project happening in WA that will support Blue Swimmer Crab populations!

Come and learn how Seagrass for Swimmers will restore paddleweed meadows in the Leschenault for better habitat for crabs and fish. Hear from OzFish and DWER seagrass scientists about the current state of seagrass in the Lesch and how we plan to help it out.

Be prepared to get a bit wet and muddy if you choose to help collect some seagrass, otherwise just come down for a chat.

Registration is essential. we hope to see you there!
