Mullet Cook Up for the flood affected Clarence

April 23, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm AEST

Join us for a bite to eat and some healthy discussion about what’s happening to the waterways in our region.

Our community have seen our fair share of seasonal flooding. However, this last flood did not just affect our fishery but made us question the very way we handle this phenomenon going into the future.

This is more than a bite to eat, we have groups coming together like the Yamba Lions Club, Yaegl LALC, Department of Primary Industries, Clarence Co-op and Ballina Co-op and OzFish Unlimited who will be by the river to talk to you about floods affecting our fisheries.

Join us at McLachlan Park, on Saturday, 10.00 am to 2.00 pm for the mullet cook up.

Profits from the cook up will be going to the Lions Club of Yamba to assist flood-affected areas.

This project has been assisted by the New South Wales Government through its Environment Trust.
