Back yourself to catch a Murray Cod? The come down and join us for Goondiwindi Cod Classic!

The OzFish Goondiwindi Chapter is organised and run by a group of enthusiastic recreational anglers who want the best for their local waterways. They promote safe and sustainable fishing practices in the community as well as helping to support, maintain and develop community projects. They strongly believe in community spirit and giving back to the people who deserve it.

The Goondiwindi Cod Classic is a catch-and-release fishing comp to educate the community on best practice for sustainable fishing.

Adults competitors $20 entry fee to enter.

Juniors aged up to 14 can compete for free and should be accompanied/supervised by a senior paid competitor.

Prizes:

Adult competitors will compete for cash prizes for the largest Murray Cod caught.

2nd $600
3rd $350

Junior competitors have a chance to win cash and prizes for the combined length of fish caught.
