Fisher Science Training Workshop – Macdonald River NSW

June 17, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm AEST

Learn how to monitor the health of your waterway at Macdonald River.

Join OzFish and the Hawkesbury Nepean Landcare Network down on the banks of the Macdonald River to learn how to complete a number of exciting monitoring activities that can tell us more about the health of this waterway and the types of animals it supports.

All necessary equipment and training will be provided on the day, so as long as you enjoy the outdoors, like learning new skills and meeting like-minded people, this day is for you! Lunch will be provided to volunteers.

Please bring at least 2 litres of drinking water and wear long sleeves, long pants, a hat, sunscreen, and enclosed shoes that can be wet if you wish to partake in waterbug sampling or help deploy the underwater cameras. The exact meeting location and parking instructions will be provided to those that register.

Registrations are essential to secure your spot.
