Fish Habitat Restoration at Fowler Reserve, Wallacia NSW

Join us at Fowler Reserve to learn more about resnagging and creating homes for fish!

Guest speaker Rebecca Mabbot from Soil Conservation Service will talk about the importance of snags for fish. Following the talk, get ready to roll up your sleeves and help plant native trees for fish. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, there will be a BBQ lunch provided. You’ll also receive a small gift from OzFish as a little thank you for your help on the day.

Please wear enclosed shoes, sunsmart clothing, a hat, sunscreen, and bring plenty of drinking water. Registration: is essential, click on the link below.

OzFish is partnering with Penrith City Council, with funding provided from the NSW Department of Primary Industries – Fisheries’ Recreation Fishing Trust “Habitat Action Grant Program” to restore fish habitat along the Nepean River.
