Clarence Saltmarsh & Mangrove Restoration Working Bee – NSW

August 3 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am AEST

A group of people in high vis gear posing for the camera in front of a wetland

Come and help us to restore Clarence River Saltmarsh and Mangroves on Yaegl Country.

These important ecosystems provide shelter to juvenile fish, are a feeding ground for many popular rec fish species, and are a prawn production powerhouse. Unfortunately, these habitats are threatened by a range of human impacts and they need our help to be happy and healthy once again!

Come and join our community working bee where we will be removing dumped rubbish and green waste which will give the mangroves and saltmarsh a chance to re-establish . Click here to read more about this project.

We’ll provide gloves, bags, rubbish tongs, safety equipment and FREE LUNCH to thank you for your efforts!

The location will be at one of the four restoration sites all located within Yamba. A meeting point will be sent to attendees closer to the event date.

Registration is essential. We hope to see you there!
