Fishers for fish habitat forum

OzFish Unlimited and our major partners BCF are giving 20 keen fishers the opportunity to receive a $100 contribution to attend the Department of Primary Industry’s 2018 Fishers for Fish Habitat Forum in Ballina on the 24-25th August. The Forum is funded through the NSW Recreational Fishing Trusts.

Recreational fishers, local council, scientists and Department staff will come together to learn about fish habitat, what’s being done to protect it and hear how we’re making a difference to fishing’s future.

The two-day event will focus on how to get funding, recreational fishers’ role in protecting fish habitat, and how you can get involved. With a site tour of the lower Richmond catchment, you’ll see habitat issues and actions first-hand.
