Are you a local business or fishing business?
OzFish is taking proposals from businesses who would like to participate with a stall, demonstration of sustainable fishing items, workshops, rod/reel repairs, category sponsorship or other ideas you’d like to present to us. Contact 1800 431 308 or email info@ozfish.org.au
Other ways to be sustainable at Reflections Sustainable Fishing Series:
Each Reflections location has its own OzFish TackleLoop bin where you can deposit clean fishing tackle – clean out the shed and bring along almost anything except soft plastics, soft packing. Also, donate your old rods and reels to the TackleLoop Repair Tent, or have your rod or reel fixed on the go!
We’re also recycling old opera-house yabby nets and swapping them for an Orgee Plow lure, so bring along any that you have in the back shed, they’re no good to use now anyway, they are illegal to use in NSW waters.
Want to run your own sustainable fishing comp but don’t know where to start?
OzFish and Reflections are also keen to support other recreational fishing competitions and groups to become more sustainable, if you’re hosting an event and you’d like some help with your catch and release entries, a TackleLoop bin, a Yabby Trap Drop Spot, someone to demonstrate sustainable fishing practices, or any advice at all, the OzFish team and on hand to assist you. Drop us a line at info@ozfish.org.au or call 1800 431 308.
