Trees for Fish Community Planting – Logan – 16th Oct

October 16, 2021 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm AEST

Join Logan City Council, OzFish and Healthy Land and Water for a second tree planting activity by the Logan River

Join us by the river for the second free, family-friendly community tree planting activity delivered as part of the Fishers for Fish Habitat project. This project is a collaborative and coordinated effort between Healthy Land and Water, OzFish and Logan City Council to restore the once-thriving fish population of the Logan and Albert Rivers. The launch of the project and first community planting in June saw close to 1,000 trees planted in approximately two hours.

Please wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, enclosed shoes and a hat and please bring gloves, drinking water and sunscreen.A free sausage sizzle will be held following the planting activity. Community groups are welcome to participate.
