Seeds For Snapper Information Evening – Oct 18th

OzFish are hosting a free community event on 18th October at the Fremantle Sailing Club to provide an update on planned “Seeds for Snapper” activities during the 2021 seagrass season, which runs until late November every year.
Participants can learn how OzFish and project partners intend to improve our community seagrass collection efficiencies to hit the ‘magic million seeds’ mark. WA Senior Program Manager, Andrew Matthews, will be providing boating participants with information on how they can get involved by collected floating seagrass wrack.
Dive Team coordinators Tania Douthwaite and Rachel Austin will be explaining the safety and fruit collection methods. Participants will also be provided with a calendar of events, registration requirements and the different types of activities people can help out with. don’t miss out.
