Seeds for Snapper Family Day – Cockburn Powerboat Club Open Day

The Seeds for Snapper Family Seeding Day is on again and you can be part of helping restore seagrass meadows in Western Australia’s Cockburn Sound.
Join us for an informative and interactive day that will include seed cleaning demonstrations, seed bagging and seed-dispersing trips out on boats to Cockburn Sound.
Come along to the Cockburn Powerboat Club to help spread the seagrass seed that has been collected and processed by our volunteers, and be a part of restoring local fish habitat. Boat owners are also invited to help disperse seed as part of the day. The Cockburn Powerboat Club will also be having their Annual Open Day and we’ll put on a free sausage sizzle for everyone!
