Search for the Prehistoric Lungfish – NSW

April 16, 2023 @ 8:30 am - 12:30 pm AEST

Join Richmond River Chapter in search of the pre-historic Australian Lungfish!

We are following up on an exciting couple of sightings of the pre-historic Australian Lungfish. The morning will also include a workshop on using eDNA tests, with water bug testing to monitor water quality.

Australian Lungfish are known to inhabit areas in south-east Queensland, with sightings in New South Wales extremely rare. These creatures thrived during the dinosaur ages, going back 300 million years. Don’t miss this opportunity to potentially find an old soul.

Registration is essential. We hope to see you there!
