Seeds for Snapper WA 2024 – Seagrass Fruit Sorting Day

Join us to help sort seagrass fruit!
Although our dive team may be offshore for the day, we still need onshore helpers at our tank session. Please come along to help count and sort seeds and fruit. All welcome, please park outside the gates.
As members of the local community, you can play an active role in restoring these vitally important natural habitats. OzFish is determined to restore seagrass loss via harvesting seagrass fruits and reseeding them into areas ready to be re-established as seagrass meadows. Doing so will provide shelter for our diverse range of marine species, including important recreational fishing species such as our iconic pink snapper.
Before registering to participate in the event, please ensure that you have submitted your details to be a 2024 Seeds for Snapper WA volunteer with us.
