Seeds for Snapper WA 2024 – Offshore Fruit Collection Day

Join us for a day of offshore seagrass fruit collection aboard Blue Destiny!
We will depart from Fremantle and head out to one of the nearby islands where we will do two collection dives before heading back.
Lunch snacks and second dive cylinder provided. Limited spaces, get in quick!
As members of the local community, you can play an active role in restoring these vitally important natural habitats. OzFish is determined to restore seagrass loss via harvesting seagrass fruits and reseeding them into areas ready to be re-established as seagrass meadows. Doing so will provide shelter for our diverse range of marine species, including important recreational fishing species such as our iconic pink snapper.
