Rocky Creek Fish Habitat Walk and Talk

Join OzFish for a walk along the banks of along Rocky Creek and learn about what is happening in this important habitat.

The project at Tuntable Creek will see the removal of weeds and the reconstruction of native vegetation which will help reduce erosion and improve in stream bank stability. This supports healthy, diverse and connected aquatic environments, which are adjacent to a high priority wildlife corridor. This will also help to protect high conservation value vegetation, including threatened species and endangered ecological communities on site and downstream.

OzFish are supporting Tuntable Creek’s project by providing community education on the importance of fish habitat.  

This project is funded by The Department of Primary Industries fish habitat action grant.
