Come along to undertake a clean up event for clean up Australia day and plant a tree for native fish.
The Gwydir River system is the traditional lands of the Gomeroi/Kamilaroi people, extending from Singleton in the Hunter Valley through to the Warrumbungles in the west and up through the Namoi and Gwydir valleys. Home to various native plant communities, including river red gum, coolabah and black box, this important vegetation provides essential refuge sites for native fish such as Murray Cod, Golden Perch, and Eel-tailed catfish.
