NSW Chapter Members Opportunity – Turkey Beach, QLD

Are you a dedicated OzFish member, passionate about shellfish reefs? Are you keen to learn more about how we can re-create the great work being done in Central Moreton Bay, but this time, in NSW waters?
OzFish has an exciting opportunity for a few lucky NSW members to take part in a 6 day oyster exploration experience, starting at ‘Oyster World’ in Central Moreton Bay and then venturing up to Turkey Beach (6 hr north of Brisbane) and participate in Griffith University Ph.D. shellfish reef research!
This will be a shared learning experience, connecting passionate anglers with OzFish staff who are keen to kickstart oyster restoration within NSW waters. As well as participating in fantastic research, there will, of course, be an opportunity to wet a line and appreciate Turkey Beach for all its glory.
Dates: 10th May – 15th May
Transport, accommodation and food costs are covered. All you need to worry about is what to pack!
