Nymboida River Planting Day – NSW
April 6 @ 9:30 am - 1:00 pm AEDT
Join OzFish for a morning of planting native vegetation along the beautiful Nymboida River.
This event is being held to continue the important restoration work along the Nymboida River after the devastating black summer bushfires. Planting native grasses, shrubs & trees endemic to the area will stabilise the riparian banks and help reduce erosion. It will also create a source of shade and provide a continued connection of native corridor.
Attendees can expect to be part of a meaningful and impactful project that directly contributes to the recovery and resilience of the Nymboida River riparian zone.
Together we can make a tangible difference by planting native plants, providing insight into the importance of riparian zones and the role they play in maintaining ecosystem health and being a part of the positive change.
Attendees are also invited to camp overnight.
Registration is essential. we hope to see you there!
