Murrumbidgee Lure Casters Competition

The Murrumbidgee Lure Casters Competition is back for 2022!
The aim of the Murrumbidgee Lure Casters Competition is to raise funds for the OzFish Wagga chapter while getting a bunch of keen fisho’s together for a social weekend of fishing.
The March and April period is perfect for chasing Murray Cod in the Murrumbidgee river with low flows and dropping temperatures, it is classed as the best time to target large native fish on hard bodied and surface lures in heavily snagged areas of the Murrumbidgee river.
The entry fee is $100 per person with 50% of the entry fee going to the OzFish Wagga Chapter and the other 50% going back to the prize pool. Further fishing prizes and vouchers will also be handed out throughout the weekend.
This competition will be capped at 60 entrants.
