Litter Prevention Community Forum – Session 1 – Dubbo

August 10, 2022 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm AEST

Are you tired of seeing rubbish around Dubbo? Are you sick of seeing plastic bottles in the river?

In partnership with the NSW Environmental Protection Authority, OzFish are collecting your ideas as a part of a litter prevention project. We are building a business case to run litter prevention programs in the Dubbo LGA, with the aim to reduce the amount of litter entering the rivers. And we need your help. Come along and share your insights about the litter hotspots in Dubbo, Wellington and along the river. Contribute your ideas about what you think would help prevent people from littering. The project is focused on the Dubbo LGA; however, input from people upstream and downstream is still helpful. This session will be held from 11.45am to 12.45pm at the Meeting Room, Macquarie Regional Library – Dubbo. Registration is essential. When doing so, there are options to attend in-person and online.
