Emigrant Creek Planting Day

May 1, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am AEST

Come join OzFish to help plant native trees to improve fish habitat on Emigrant Creek – Tintenbar

Stage one  involved removing invasive vegetation and now the real fun begins. Roll up your sleeves and help us plant 465 native trees for Australian bass fish! The day is all about restoring vegetation along a stretch of the creek that helps the fish and other aquatic life – particularly Australian bass that need cover and snags to thrive. Bring plenty of water, and wear sun-safe clothing and appropriate footwear. Please also carpool where you can as there is limited parking.

Spots are limited for this workshop, so please register to avoid disappointment.

This project is supported by North Coast Local Land Services in partnership with OzFish Unlimited and BCF – Boating, Camping Fishing, through funding from the Australian Government’s Fisheries Habitat Restoration program.
