CSBP Coastal Connections Challenge

March 25, 2021 @ 9:00 am - March 27, 2021 @ 4:00 pm AEDT

Change the Sea – See the Change

The CSBP Coastal Connections Challenge is a FREE two-day event to raise awareness and empower teams of young people to take real action on coastal issues.

Alanna Cooper, OzFish Peel Harvey Project Officer, will be speaking at the event aboutย the importance of seagrass meadows and discuss the value of citizen scientists in projects like Seeds For Snapper.

Perth NRM are looking for teams of young people to come together and identify coastal conservation issues and develop practical action projects with the support of their peers, scientists, artists, conservationists, and educators. Developed in partnership with CSBP and Perth NRM, the challenge makes direct links between conservation values, sustainability, STEM and school curriculum.

Schools and youth-oriented groups are encouraged to register their early interest in nominating a youth team (or two) for the 2021 CSBP Coastal Connections Challenge.
