Tree Planting, Clean Up and Catch Up – Dubbo

Join OzFish Inland Waterways for a new members night and Chapter catch up!
Come and find out what OzFish projects are running in the Dubbo-Wellington region and how you can get involved. Tree plantings, clean ups, weed control, fish motels, sustainable fishing workshops, carp musters, educational kayak trips… these are the types of activities we can do. Bring your ideas too!
We will do a short clean up and small tree planting at Pilchers Reserve, followed by a chat over dinner. BYO dinner/nibbles. Rock up anytime between 5.30 and 6pm to help with tree planting and a clean up. We’ll start the discussion approx 6.15 pm. We’ll also be discussing plans for a Junior OzFish program – juniors welcome, accompanied by an adult.
Where: Pilchers Reserve, Angle Rd, Dubbo (first driveway on the right after Lazy River – look for a green Council Reserve sign).
What to bring: Your own dinner or nibblies, campchair, mozzie repellant, torch.
If it is flooding or raining, the event will be postponed. We will email those who register and post any notices on the Inland Waterways OzFish River Repair Bus Facebook page.
