Clarence Chapter Catch Up – NSW

July 20, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm AEST

Join us to discuss new Chapter projects to help safeguard the ecosystem health of the Clarence River.

The catch up is the chance for OzFish members & the wider community to get together & talk about all things fishy. We will be sharing some of the concern we are seeing, some of our ideas, exchanging fishing stories and most importantly, make a plan to make Clarence fishing better.

To address the water quality issues in the Clarence, OzFish is calling on its army of rec fishers and conservation-minded community members to become citizen scientists. Through the data collected, we aim to identify sources of sedimentation in the river and develop targeted remediation strategies.

We invite you to become a citizen scientist and actively contribute. We will provide monitoring kits to interested volunteers, enabling them to collect valuable data over 12 weeks. Attend and register your interest to become a citizen scientist where your participation will help us understand the challenges of the Clarence and work together towards solutions.

A lucky door prize & finger food on the night.

Registration is essential. We hope to see you there!
