Catch-a-Carp-a-thon at Menindee – NSW

Snag a carp and help native fish thrive. Fishing, food, and fantastic prizes are expected to lure young and old recreational fishers and raise awareness of the plight of native fish.
Activities
1:15pm – Free lunch catered at Maidens hotel
1.30pm – NSW DPI Fisheries – Iain Ellis to present on Lower Darling Recovery works
1.40pm – Presentation of prizes and raffle
1:55pm – OzFish Unlimited – Braeden Lampard to present on re-snagging works undertaken within the Lower Darling River
2.00pm – Competition and events over
Prizes
There is over $1,500 worth of prizes to give away. Each registered participant receives one raffle ticket into the random draw, ticket issued after signing on at Maidens Hotel, and each carp submitted to committee members at Maidens Hotel from 12:45pm to 1:15pm receives an additional ticket into the random draw.
Registration will include signing an agreement to comply with all policies. All competitors must comply with the boating legislation with reference to safety equipment, registration and licensing, safe operation, and speed limits. Refer to NSW Maritime http://www.maritime.nsw.gov.au. It is the responsibility of entrants to be aware of all NSW inland fishing regulations.
