Underwater Camera Building Workshop – Meningie West, SA

The OzFish Coorong Chapter are holding a workshop where you can learn how to build and install underwater camera technology to monitor fish and habitat structures.
Participants will have the opportunity to contribute towards on-going environmental monitoring by helping to build and install underwater cameras. They will also learn about the threats facing aquatic species in the Coorong National Park and how these can be addressed.
Saturday 23rd: Camera building – participants will help assemble, program and deploy underwater cameras in the waters of the Coorong National Park to assist with ongoing and important ecological monitoring of the area.
Sunday 24th: Follow up morning with some further training around setting, downloading and interpreting data from cameras.
Please bring drinking water and a fold up chair and small table (this is not compulsory, but may be helpful to use as a workstation). The Saturday event will be catered including morning tea, Lunch BBQ lunch and Afternoon tea. Registration is essential, see you there!
