Native Fish Forum – OzFish members in Dubbo

May 3, 2023 @ 9:30 am - May 5, 2023 @ 12:30 pm AEST

Do you want to learn about native fish and how to support their recovery? From the 3rd to 5th of May, the Native Fish Recovery Strategy is holding a Native Fish Forum at the Western Plains Zoo, Dubbo, NSW.

This Forum will showcase the work of the native fish recovery strategy and share knowledge about the ongoing activities that support native fish recovery.

OzFish are offering a limited number of bursaries to OzFish members and Landcarers to attend the event so they can connect with likeminded people and build their knowledge about the recovery of native fish. The bursaries will contribute to the ticket purchase, travel and food costs and are on offer for members and Landcarers who are within 400km of Dubbo.

Bursary details:

• Four members from affiliated Landcare groups
• Eight active members from OzFish Unlimited
• Up to $500 per person to cover ticket, travel and food expenses
• Nominees are responsible for self-managing their travel bookings, ticket purchase and other arrangements
• Nominees will be reimbursed for costs up to $500 of value following the forum, upon provision of booking confirmations and tax receipts to OzFish (must be submitted by 19th May 2023)
