Come along to Taylor’s Beach, have some fun fishing and learn about some of the basics that will help you catch fish and make sure they don’t get away.
There will be educational talks about how to tie knots correctly, how to be safe on the water, how to cast and how to handle fish once you’ve caught them. There will also be talks about the importance of habitat to fish and how we can improve habitat for the benefit of fish stocks.
The event will take place at Taylor’s Beach Foreshore Park on Sunday the 18th of April from 8:45am to 12.00pm.
Please wear sunscreen, sunsmart clothing, appropriate footwear and bring a water bottle.
