Fisher Science eDNA Workshop – Wagonga Inlet – NSW

October 26, 2023 @ 11:30 am - 4:30 pm AEDT

Take part in the largest recreational fish survey in NSW estuaries using environmental DNA.

Charles Sturt University is using eDNA to explore how the estuary fish we love to target have responded to consecutive extreme events of drought, bushfire, and flood and they need your help.

Join us for an afternoon on the water, get trained in the art of eDNA sampling and contribute as a citizen scientist to this important research.  We will start off with a training session from Charles Sturt University where we will learn how to undertake eDNA sampling.  After lunch we will be provided with a water sample by NSW DPI Fisheries and put our learnings into practice.

Lunch will be provided.

Registration is essential. We hope to see you there!
