Clarence Chapter Christmas Party – celebrating trees and bass

December 9, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - December 11, 2022 @ 2:00 pm AEDT

Camp out under the stars, share a story by the campfire and reflect with us on the great things the Clarence Chapter have achieved this year by joining us for a weekend on the Nymboida River.

At OzFish we never miss an opportunity; on the weekend we will be planting trees to help bushfire recovery along the Nymboida River, which was devastated during the black summer fires. We will then spend the afternoons fishing by the River. The OzFish team will be there to demonstrate sustainable bass fishing and handling techniques, meaning we can enjoy the sport we love while having minimal impact on fish and their habitat.

As a thank you for all your hard work and dedication, OzFish will be catering this event, so there is no need to pack food. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements in the registration form.

The site is down a long dirt road, and AWD or 4WD is needed to drive here. If you do not have a suitable car and would like to come, please let us know and we can organise a pick up point.

Note that the only facilities on site are a drop toilet and rain water. Please be prepared and bring your own drinking water, camping equipment, fishing gear and any other essentials

Registration is essential. We hope to see you there!
