Citizen Science Training Day – WILS Project – NSW

November 20, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm AEDT

Bream fish underwater with oysters on the sea floor

Join OzFish Eurobodalla Chapter, Nature Coast Marine Group and DPI (Fisheries) for a training day where you will learn about the Wagonga Inlet Living Shorelines (WILS) Project and how to help monitor it.

We will be meeting at the Narooma Swimming Centre conference room for presentations on the WILS project and citizen science program. The WILS project aims to restore approximately 2,700 square metres of subtidal native flat oyster (Angasi) and intertidal Sydney rock oyster reefs. Afterward, we will have lunch and then head out to the reef to conduct a survey. Registration is essential.
