Burringbar Planting Day – NSW

August 20, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm AEST

Join us for a community planting day to support fish habitat along Burringbar Creek!

OzFish is partnering with Tweed Valley Landcare to plant some trees and teach our volunteers how to look after our precious creeks. You may even learn some tips that you can take to your own property!

We’d love to have you help Burringbar Creek and its fishy occupants, by giving it some love. By planting local native plants along the banks of the creek, we can stabilise the embankment and reduce erosion.

So get the kids involved and head to Burringbar Creek for a day of fun and giving back to our beloved local creeks.

Morning tea will be provided. Due to insurance this event is for 4 to 80 year olds.

Registration is essential. We hope to see you there.
