Drew Fincher – River Culture Officer – Kureinji

Drew is a recognised and respected Aboriginal man from the Kureinji Nation. Drew actively participates in his culture and continues to grow and learn towards his goal of becoming a community leader. Drew has lived and worked locally within the Sunraysia area and is committed to his cultural responsibilities as a custodian of Country.

Drew has worked for NSW Local Land Services, Park Victoria at Hattah NP and has completed a Certificate III Conservation and Land Management. Drew also has some knowledge of local native flora, common species in particular and those used by the local community for food, medicine, tool making, ceremony and other uses.
