Domenic Holland – Project Officer Western Australia

Domenic grew up fishing the banks of the Swan-Canning River system; a passion that culminated in the completion of an honours degree in coastal and marine science at Curtin University.

Taking every opportunity to explore and fish Western Australia’s vast coastline, Domenic has developed a great appreciation for the world-class ecosystems on offer.

Domenic became involved with OzFish upon the inauguration of the Perth Chapter in 2018, taking on the role of chapter president. In 2022, Dom took on the WA project officer role. As a keen recreational angler, he aims to expand the involvement of fellow anglers in habitat rehabilitation projects. Particularly, he is focused on the restoration of the Swan-Canning to a healthy state benefitting all river users.
