Let’s learn some cool facts about my friend
– the Mulloway Argyrosomus japonicus
Mulloway are popular because of their large size. They can reach 1.8m in length and weigh up to 60kg – that’s as heavy as a truck tyre!1 Due to their popularity, there are limits to what you can take home when fishing. Overfishing is when too many of the species are taken from the water and not enough adults are left to keep breeding.2 Mulloway can be a bit noisy, known to make a loud croaking or grunting noise.3 Do you have any loud friends?
