OzFish recognises the intrinsic connection First Nations peoples have to land, sea and skies. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging; and to their cultures, beliefs, knowledge and connection to Country. We hold a deep respect for First Nations ecological knowledge, wisdom, and perspectives passed from generation to generation which have brought sustainable environmental management and fishing over thousands of years.
