Scrubby Creek Riverbank Restoration
June 22 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm ACST

Join us to restore the riparian vegetation along Scrubby Creek Corridor Park!
Riparian zones – vegetated areas along creek banks – play a key role in waterway health.
They provide habitat, reduce erosion, filter runoff, and help keep the water clean and cool for native fish species.
We’ll be planting 500 native plants to restore the riparian zone of Scrubby Creek, to help improve the overall water quality and fish habitat.
Stick around after the planting for a BBQ lunch to celebrate your efforts!
Date: Sunday 22 June 2025
Time: 9am – 12 midday AEST
Venue: Scrubby Creek Corridor Park, Melissa Street, Marsden QLD 4132
Registration is essential. We hope to see you there!
This Project has been funded under the Logan City Council EnviroGrants program, and is supported by BCF – Boating, Camping, Fishing.
