Seeds for Snapper WA 2024 – Early Season Seagrass Fruit Collection Dive Day

The seagrass fruits have ripened early, so we need all hands on deck to help collect the fruits!
As members of the local community, you can play an active role in restoring these vitally important natural habitats. OzFish is determined to restore seagrass loss via harvesting seagrass fruits and reseeding them into areas ready to be re-established as seagrass meadows. Doing so will provide shelter for our diverse range of marine species, including important recreational fishing species such as our iconic pink snapper.
***This is a dive day ONLY, no sorting sessions are planned***
Morning seagrass dive 1 | 8am – 10am
Morning seagrass dive 2 | 10am – 12pm
Before registering to participate in the event, please ensure that you have submitted your details to be a 2024 Seeds for Snapper WA volunteer with us.
