Seeds for Snapper WA 2024 – Seagrass Fruit Sorting Day *ONLY* (Cancelled)

We need volunteers to help sort and disperse more than one million seeds back into Cockburn Sound and you can join us!

This event has now been cancelled, thank you to all of our volunteers!

As members of the local community, you can play an active role in restoring these vitally important natural habitats. OzFish is determined to restore seagrass loss via harvesting seagrass fruits and reseeding them into areas ready to be re-established as seagrass meadows. Doing so will provide shelter for our diverse range of marine species, including important recreational fishing species such as our iconic pink snapper.
