Help restore critical riparian habitat for better water quality and fish habitat!
The Riparian Renewal at Puckeys Lagoon is an OzFish Unlimited-led habitat restoration project designed to improve water quality and enhance fish habitat in Puckeys Lagoon, Fairy Meadow.
This initiative, in partnership with Wollongong City Council and Illawarra Landcare, focuses on removing invasive weeds, planting native vegetation, and engaging the local community in active conservation. Healthy riparian zones are critical for supporting fish populations, reducing erosion, filtering pollutants, and improving overall ecosystem health.
