OzFish Peel-Harvey Chapter Meet Up and Information Evening- Thu 9 Dec

Meet up with your mates from the Chapter and see what’s coming for 2022.
It has been a while since our last catch up and now is a great time to meet, have a drink and discuss some of the fish habitat restoration projects that we are planning for 2022 and how you can get involved.
On the agenda will be a rundown of our Pimp My Jetty Project, which will launch in early 2022 and will see OzFishers install small scale vertical mussel farms under private jetties.
On the night, OzFish will give a short talk on how we will undertake this project and attendees can view examples of the biodegradable mussel habitats and learn more about the timing of the project and the help we need to construct, install and monitor the restoration sites.
It’s also a great opportunity to catch-up with members from the OzFish Peel-Harvey Chapter and see how you can get involved in this and other unique fish habitat projects. Light refreshments will be provided, registration is essential.
