Get ready to wrangle some Carp at the Mendooran Carp Muster for Gone Fishing Day—it’s going to get a whole lot of fishy for a really good cause!
A family friendly fishing event for all ages and abilities. Help make a difference by participating in this community fishing competition with a mission to help restore and support the health of our local water ways. Lets get toghther and reduce the numbers of this invasive species.

What to bring
- Closed-toe shoes.
- Suitable sun-safe clothing.
- Hat and sunscreen.
- Food and water for the day.

- 8:30am – 9:00am: Registration and check-in.
- 9:00am – 4:00pm: Competition kick-off with Sean Graham, OzFish.
- 9:00am – 9:30am: Castlereagh Dash for Cash with Andrew Grew, Three Rivers Landcare.
- 9:00am – 10:30am: Small Fry kids fishing clinic with Sean Graham, OzFish.
- 2:30pm – 3:30pm: Casting competition with Andrew Grew, Three Rivers Landcare.
- 3:30pm – 4:00pm: Weigh-in with Sean Graham, OzFish.
- 5:00pm – 6:00pm: Presentation and dinner.
