Manning Chapter Catchup – NSW
August 12, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm AEST
Join the OzFish Manning Chapter for their second meeting of 2023, where we discuss ideas on how we can improve habitat outcomes in our area.
It doesn’t matter if you’re new to fishing or have never heard of OzFish before – this event is open to everyone! It’s a great opportunity to learn more about OzFish and the habitat restoration work that they do. We will meet at 1:00pm at Saltwater Lagoon (look for the OzFish flag), chat about activities we’d like to kickstart in the region and form a plan to move forward.
Things we will discuss:
- What would we like to kickstart before the end of the year?
- Who would be interested in a fishing/kayaking trip down the Manning River?
- What would we like to see happen for ‘Gone Fishing Day’ this October?
Once we have finished the meeting (no later than 3:00pm), the tide should be rising, so we encourage you to stick around get involved in the afternoon activities:
- Wet a line and have a fish
- Put your kayak in and have a paddle In the creek
- Help tidy up the lagoon and National Park (We will have gloves and hessian sacks)
You can also sign up on the day to become a member of our Manning Chapter.
Registration is essential. We hope to see you there.
